December is filled with gift-giving holidays, and marketing isn’t as fun as providing acupuncture treatments, so instead of spending money on ads, we’re going to try something a little more home-grown this month. As an existing patient, for December you can have as many “free 1st treatment” coupons as you’d like to give away. A gift for you to give as gifts, and a gift to us if the clinic gets more patients. Win-win-win!
These are great to give to people you might normally try to bring with you (but it’s too hard for your schedules to align), but I have to admit that I’m doing this promotion now during the holiday season for a reason. Aren’t there also people in your life that you’d like to give a little something to, but honestly you don’t really want to spend money on them? The go-to stocking stuffer for those situations seems to be a $5 Starbucks gift card, but I think acupuncture is a great alternative, especially if it costs you nothing to give! The holiday season is hard on a lot of people, and acupuncture can help with the stress, anxiety, depression, and other stuff that tends to crop up this time of year, so the more people getting free acupuncture around now, the better.
Friends, people at work, your book club, the mail carrier, your favorite grocery cashiers, your secret Santa, people in the meetup groups you never attend — give them to anyone you like! You can give the coupons in person or electronically.
Below are two coupons.
Coupon One gives you a place to add the name of the person you’re giving it to and sign your name. These are great if you want to print them out and hand them to people personally, such as people at work that you know by name. If you are good on the computer and are comfortable adding the names digitally, go for it! This coupon does not have an expiration date. If you like someone enough to write their name on the coupon, we like them enough to give them a free first treatment. 🙂
The second coupon skips the To/From and is ready to be given to anyone you come across that makes you think, “Hey, maybe I’ll give them one of these!” but whose name you don’t know in advance, like the nice cashier at the grocery store. This one has an expiration date of March 31 (so if they wind up being posted to lots of big groups, we won’t still be redeeming them a year later).
Right click (windows), Control click (Mac), or tap (mobile devices) on the coupon you want to download/save. You can then email the image to whomever you like, post it, or print it. Use the single images if you want to use them electronically, or if you want to print them, you can use the PDFs that have 4 coupons on a page.
This link is only being sent to existing patients as of December. This web page is not linked to from anywhere, and it won’t show up in search results, so no one will know you got these coupons for free. They are treated just like any other gift certificate when someone brings one in to redeem for their first treatment. The only thing we ask is that you not continue to give them out once December ends.
So go ahead and stuff some stockings, secret some Santas, and spread some cheer (and reduction of pain, stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, etc.)!
